Man donating on pledge board at Resources Industry Charity Sundowner

Resources Industry Charity Sundowner

Over the past four years, Topdrill has proudly raised over $1,000,000 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and Full Circle Therapies through the annual Resources Industry Charity Sundowner. Held on the eve of Diggers and Dealers in Kalgoorlie, this event reflects our deep commitment to supporting vital services in Western Australia’s most remote regions. As a company that operates in these isolated areas, we understand the critical importance of the RFDS and are dedicated to raising funds each year for our charity partners. By uniting the resources industry, Topdrill continues to drive support for these essential services, ensuring they can thrive and continue making a difference.

Group of children from Clontarf Foundation

Clontarf Foundation

The Clontarf Foundation has been empowering young Indigenous men across Australia since 2000. By supporting the delivery of their programs, providing traineeships and work-ready opportunities, we are helping to shape brighter futures within our community. The Clontarf Foundation works to address the root causes of social and economic disadvantage, promoting social connectedness and improved physical and mental health. Clontarf’s success is clear, and Topdrill is proud to support their impactful work in the Goldfields.

Ronald McDonald House Charity

Topdrill proudly supports the Ronald McDonald House Charity through its room sponsorship at Nedlands House, a vital resource that offers a home-away-from-home for families during challenging times. This essential support helps to ease the emotional and financial burden on families, allowing them to focus on what matters most—being close to their loved ones. Topdrill is deeply committed to giving back to the community, and our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charity allows us to make a meaningful impact in the lives of WA families.

Topdrill donating money to the Goldfields Children's Charity

Goldfields Children's Charity

Topdrill has been a proud supporter of the Goldfields Children’s Charity for 10 years, contributing to the well-being of families with seriously ill children in the Goldfields region. Based in Kalgoorlie, this charity works tirelessly to improve the lives of local families during their most difficult times. Each year, Topdrill volunteers time, alongside sponsoring and donating over $30,000 to this worthy cause, helping to provide much-needed support and resources.

MACA Cancer 200 - Ride for Perkins

Since its inception in 1998, the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research has made ground-breaking discoveries in the fight against disease, including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. With over 200 researchers, scientists, and doctors working across two cutting-edge research facilities, the Perkins fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration. Funds raised through the MACA Cancer 200 are essential in supporting teams dedicated to finding solutions to defeat cancer, and Topdrill is honoured to contribute to this important cause.

Topdrill donates to RU OK? Day

RU OK?

Topdrill’s annual RU OK? Day sunrise breakfast is an initiative that brings our team and contractors together with key speakers to foster meaningful conversations around mental well-being. By encouraging conscious conversations, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and create a supportive environment where our team feels safe to speak up and seek help.

Flying Doctor Day

Topdrill actively participates in Flying Doctor Day to raise essential funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). Each year the Topdrill Drill-a-Thon encourages our team to dig deep – literally – with funds donated for each metre drilled throughout the 24 hours. The funds raised not only support the operational costs of the RFDS, but ensure that vital services, including emergency medical transport and healthcare delivery, remain available to those in need.

The St. Barbara’s Festival honours our rich mining heritage and highlights our unique community involvement, bringing residents and visitors together to showcase the spirit of the Goldfields. By supporting the Saint Barbara’s Festival, Topdrill reinforces its commitment to celebrating local traditions and fostering connections within the community. Events like the St. Barbara’s Day Festival play a crucial role in strengthening our bonds and preserving the history that shapes our identity.

Sonix Netball

We believe in the importance of supporting grassroots sports initiatives, like the Sonixs netball team, help foster a sense of belonging and teamwork among younger members of the community. Our financial contributions aim to eliminate barriers, ensuring that all children—regardless of their financial circumstances—can participate in the joy of sport. By encouraging active, healthy lifestyles, we strive to empower the next generation of leaders and athletes in the Goldfields.

“The Resources Industry Charity Sundowner has been a saviour to Full Circle Therapies Inc. The amount of time, effort, and drive the Topdrill team puts into this event alone is amazing and something that needs to be seen to be believed. The amount of children we can provide early intervention therapy for in the Goldfields continues to grow because of Topdrill’s generosity and support.”
